Terms of service
Effective 7 October 2026
The service and who provides it
OrderTill is a restaurant billing and order-taking service provided by Kemu Infotech Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to the business that holds an OrderTill account (“you”) and to the people it lets use that account. They apply together with the order or plan you agreed with us; where the two differ, your order or plan applies.
Accounts
- You are responsible for the people you add to your account and for what is done under it.
- Keep passwords, sign-in codes and device activation codes safe.
- If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at once at support@ordertill.com.
Your data
Your restaurant's records (its bills, orders, menu, staff and guests' details) belong to you. We use them only to provide OrderTill, as our privacy policy describes. You can take your records with you: your till produces your reports and tax exports, and on request we will give you an export of the records we hold for you.
You are responsible for the prices and tax details you enter in OrderTill and for your own tax filings.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use OrderTill for anything unlawful;
- try to reach data or accounts that are not yours, or get around OrderTill's security;
- test, scan or load OrderTill's systems without our written permission;
- interfere with the service or with other customers' use of it;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer OrderTill, except as the law allows.
Fees
Fees, the billing period and payment terms are as set out in your order or plan.
If a bill is unpaid
We will talk to you about it: with notices in the portal, reminders and a call. We do not make OrderTill worse to get paid. In particular:
- we never reduce what OrderTill does during a trading day; any change waits until that business day has ended;
- an order that is already open can always be closed and paid;
- day-close and cash reconciliation always run, so you can always balance your drawer;
- your devices always keep sending your records, and your financial records are never held back because of a billing dispute;
- nothing is deleted because a subscription lapses.
Availability
We work to keep OrderTill available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and these terms do not set an availability figure. The billing counter keeps working when the internet connection drops. We may change or improve features over time.
Warranty
Apart from what these terms and your order or plan say, OrderTill is provided “as is”, and to the extent the law allows we give no other warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for OrderTill in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending the service
You may stop using OrderTill as your order or plan provides. We may end the service if you seriously breach these terms and do not put it right after we tell you, or at once if the service is being used unlawfully or to attack its security. When the service ends, we will give you an export of the records we hold for you on request.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of Kemu Infotech Pvt Ltd have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect.
