OrderTill

Billing that keeps going when the internet doesn’t.

OrderTill is the billing counter, the waiter’s order pad and the kitchen ticket for restaurants, cafés, bars, cloud kitchens, food courts and hotel restaurants. It runs on your own devices, so a Saturday night rush does not depend on your internet connection.

Local sync, and cloud sync when you want it.

Your till, your Captain phones and your kitchen printer work as one system inside your restaurant. The internet is a bonus, not a requirement.

  • It works when the internet drops

The till, the Captain phones and the kitchen printer talk to each other on your restaurant’s own network. Billing, order-taking and kitchen tickets carry on when the internet goes, because nothing waits for a server.

  • It keeps in touch with the cloud

When the internet is there, your till also stays connected to OrderTill’s cloud: for updates, for the owner portal and, if you choose cloud sync, for your records. What travels is encrypted.

  • Your records stay on your devices

With local sync, your bills and orders live on your own devices. What reaches OrderTill’s cloud is encrypted, and the keys stay on your devices.

Cloud sync, if you want it

Some owners want to see the restaurant from anywhere. With cloud sync, your records are also kept in OrderTill’s cloud, so the owner portal shows your menu, staff and the day’s numbers wherever you sign in.

What it does, from the table to the till

  • Billing at the counter

A Windows till prints bills with running invoice numbers, adds GST where you charge it, applies discounts, and records how each bill was paid: cash, card or UPI.

  • Kitchen order tickets

Every order prints as a KOT on an 80 mm thermal printer in the kitchen, so the kitchen cooks what was ordered.

  • OrderTill Captain

Waiters take orders at the table on a phone and send them to the counter.

  • Tables and day-close

See every table and its running order, and close the day by reconciling the cash in the drawer.

  • Owner portal

Look after your account, branches and devices on the web, signing in with your email and password or with Google. With cloud sync you also manage the menu and staff there and see the day’s numbers; with local sync, the menu and staff are managed on the till.

  • Your language on the ticket

Give an item its name in an Indian script and it prints that way on kitchen tickets and bills.

How a bill flows

  1. Order at the table

The waiter takes the order on the Captain app and sends it.

  2. Ticket in the kitchen

A kitchen order ticket prints at the kitchen printer.

  3. Bill at the counter

The cashier prints the bill, with its invoice number and GST.

  4. Paid

The payment is recorded by method: cash, card or UPI.

  5. Synced

The record stays on your devices, and with cloud sync it reaches your owner portal too.

Who it is for

Restaurants, cafés, bars, cloud kitchens and food courts, and the restaurants, room service and banquet kitchens inside hotels. A single outlet and a brand with several branches use the same OrderTill. It runs the food and drink side of a hotel; it does not manage rooms or reservations.

Your records stay yours

With local sync, your bills and orders stay on your own devices. Orders that travel between them through our relay are encrypted with keys only your devices hold.

Everything sent to and from our service is encrypted in transit, and our servers run in India, in Amazon Web Services’ Mumbai region.

Your till produces your reports and tax exports, and on request we give you an export of the records we hold for you. Nothing is deleted because a subscription lapses. The detail is in our privacy policy.

Tell us about your restaurant.

How many counters, tables and kitchens you run, and how you take orders today. We will write back.
